Weigh In Wednesday: Weeks 8 & 9 + Last Blog Post
LAST BLOG ENTRY -- read below for this to make sense.
Weekly Loss: Combined for 2 weeks-- 2.8 pounds
Total Loss: 10 POUNDS!
Workouts Completed: 4
Days staying within caloric range: I haven't been counting calories.... I've fallen off the bandwagon of how fun it was to track them. Boo. But I have been eating pretty healthy.
Other Updates:
After the twelve weeks are over I'm going to start another challenge to keep the pounds off! I made it a goal to run a half marathon by the time I'm 30, maybe this is the time... we shall see. ;)

I am not going to post on this blog anymore. It's been a fun 3 years and having a way to track my life, but life is changing into a new season, a new direction, a new home, and a whole new perspective on life. I hope to have another blog, but I honestly doubt it. If I do, I'll update it on here.

Weigh-In Wednesday: Week 7 + NEW Blog!
Weekly Loss: 3.6
Total Loss: 7.8 (ONLY 6.4 MORE LBs to go!!!)
Workouts Completed: 4
Days staying within caloric range: Probably 5... I didn't count calories, but seeing my weight loss, I was quite hungry this week! haha.
Other Updates: After two awful weeks of gaining weight, this week was awesome!! I have been holding true to the saying "ABS are made in the kitchen" It is SOOO true!! It's not mostly about exercising and cardio workouts, it is ALMOST ALL about what you eat! I ate well this week and I didn't eat alot. 3.6 pounds this week was probably edging on the side of bringing my body into starvation mode during some parts of the week and I know that is not healthy, but I'll say it was needed this week in light of life's circumstances this week.
At church on Sunday, I was talking to a few girls and I asked one of them how she was looking so great [she has lost weight and looks amazing!] and she replied that she is alot hungrier now than she was before. Ugh, so hard to think about, but it's a sacrifice and worth it. at least I think so! The only problem now is my pants are HUGE, but I guess that is a good problem to have!!
At church again on Monday, I had a conversation with another friend who said it was very bold of me to be posting all this on my blog for all of you to read... [google analytics says that is about between 60-100] of you a day. My reasoning for doing this is that I hope you are challenged to live a healthier lifestyle and it's good accountability for me. If I didn't have some of you expecting me to weigh in every Wednesday, I would still be carrying around those 7.8 pounds!!
Goals for this week:
PS. I have a NEW BLOG that I will be switching to soon! [ok, realisitically, 3 weeks or so -- depends on your definition of soon] A completely new season in my life calls for a new blog and just changes in my life in general... along with a few less pounds. hehe.

- MORE Cardio! My foot is still healing so no spin, but hopefully I will be back on the bike by next week.
- Track my calories more this week, Ive fallen off the bandwagon of it being something new and fun so I have to get back on it! You will never realize how many calories you intake if you dont track them!! They add up real fast!

Weight-In Wednesday: Week 6
Weekly Loss: nada... +1.0 (double BAH!)
Total Loss: 4.2

On a positive note, I am steady still in the 130s.

Now on with the bad news, it was impossible to not eat well in Miami. My parents took us out to fabulous restaurants for almost every meal. I choose salad for at lest half of them but the food was so good I just lost all self-control! My favorite was Texas de Brazil - similar to Fogode Chao for you Atlantans - and it was amazing! I included the pictures to show you the amazingness of my trip in case you thought my above excuses were not enough ;) I skipped on the meat but the salad bar was simply divine. Also, spin class has messed up my foot -- its one big swollen thing that wont fit into some of my shoes!! I'm taking a break from spin this week but hoping to be back next week.
Goal for next week:: LOSE 1.8 and be at 6 pounds lost. I will need to eat well and smaller protions (stay under 1,230 cals) because I can't do any intense cardio... Boo Hoo.
Hope to see you here again next Wednesday with POSITIVE news, because the past two weeks, I've have been a hot mess!

Weigh - In Wednesday: Week 5

Other Updates:
On a positive note, I am steady still in the 130s... so I do have something to celebrate AND my specific goal last week was to go to at least one spin class... well, I went to 3!! and I still hate it. every.single.minute.
Now on with the bad news, No only did I NOT lose anything, but I gained! Ahh!! Last week was a big loss so gaining a little this week hasn't set me back, but here are my justifications anyway: in-laws were in town, hungout with friends, and a friend cooked a fabulous Valentine's dinner for his wife and me, and Aunt Flow came to town... so needless to say I ate horrible and totally forgot my mantra ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN!
Next Wednesday is the halfway point (WEEK 6) so my goal is to be down 1.8 pounds by next Wednesday and I will be at my half way goal. How I am going to do this by being in Miami for 4 days might be impossible so we shall see! I feel like the next 8.8 pounds I want to loose are going to be the hardest, but so worth it! I got to kick my self into some self-control with food and keep counting calories.
One more thing, Check out my friend Leah's blog here, she's also doing it and gave me the fabulous idea :)
